The regulations on driving and rest times for a coach driver.

The legislation regarding driving and rest times applies in the 27 member states of the European Union.
Here is a brief overview of these regulations:

A driver may drive a maximum of 9 hours per day. He is allowed 10 hours twice a week to ride;

A driver may drive continuously for a maximum of 4 hours and 30 minutes. After this he must rest for 45 minutes. He can split this period into 15 and 30 minutes;

A driver must observe a daily rest period of at least 9 hours;

The total performance of one driver may not exceed 15 hours, after which 2 drivers are required;

2 drivers may have a maximum duty time of 21 hours, after which they must also take a minimum of 9 hours of rest;

A driver must observe a weekly rest period of at least 24 hours after a maximum of 6 working days. In the case of an international trip, the weekly rest may be taken after a maximum of 12 days, but in this case it must amount to a minimum of 69 hours.

Drivers must always be able to submit their performance of the current day and the 28 previous days to the inspection services. It is a necessity that driving and rest times are strictly observed!!!
